House Removals Information

Unless otherwise prior agreed, it will be your sole responsibility to:
  • Ensure that nothing is taken away in error or left behind
  • Obtain at your own expense all documents necessary for the removal to be completed
  • Take responsibility for security of your goods at the departure and destination points by being present yourself or asking someone to represent you
  • Adequately prepare and stabilise all appliances prior to their removal
  • Ensure all items (including furniture) are suitably packaged with appropriate materials to prevent damage
  • Arrange and pay for any necessary parking facilities and congestion charges
  • We will not be liable for any loss or damage costs or additional charges that may arise from any of these matters
  • We shall not be liable for loss or damage resulting from any goods not packed or unpacked
  • We accept no responsibility for loss or damage to property during or after job is complete and payment is received
  • Where customer provides assistance with loading/unloading public liability insurance against damage will be void
  • Any alterations to the agreed allotted time on removal day cannot be guaranteed as we may have pre arranged appointments with other customers and therefore need to meet deadlines
  • All transactions are between the removal customer and the driver of the van or the company hired to fulfil the job required by the customer
  • Mr Van Coventry will not be held responsible for any disputes between either customer or company hired for the move required by the customer
Mr Van Coventry will not move any of the following:
  • Goods that require special Government permission to be transported
  • Explosive items-gas bottles, aerosol, paints, fire arms, ammunition
  • Prohibited and stolen goods/drugs
  • Pets or live animals/creatures
  • Rusty garden items or soiled items
Payment:

Full payment in cash is required on the day of removal, any other arrangement will be agreed prior to work commencing.

Because our man with a van service is significantly cheaper compared to other removal companies in Coventry, there is a difference. We are a simple pick up and move your items service. If you are not sure what the difference is, then please talk to us first.
